Cecil & Charles Calvert's portrait,
by Gerard Soest (c.1600-81)
In honor and memory of the five Barons of Baltimore and Lords proprietary...
GEORGE,
CECILIUS,
CHARLES,
BENEDICT-LEONARD &
FREDERICK CALVERT
In 1625, George Calvert received the 1st title as Baron of Baltimore from James I, King of England. He then petitioned the King for a grant of land north of the Potomac River. A portion of that same valuable, waterfront named Mary Land was later generously donated to form our nation's capital, Washington, D.C.

A portion of our profits will be donated to assist with statewide lobbying efforts to protect the land rights of the consumers that you represent.
